New Colours Are Coming: Rust, Navy and Forest Green

Three new NOOKI dog bed colours: rust, navy and forest green velvet-touch tops

We love our soft creams and pastels, but some homes ask for something a little richer. So three new colours are on their way to the NOOKI family: a warm rust, a deep navy and a forest green. Here's a first look.

Meet the new colours

Each one has a plush, velvet-touch top that catches the light, soft cream sides and a thin copper piping around the edge, finished with our triangle NOOKI tag.

They're made for homes where the dog bed sits right in the living room, out in the open, and looks like it belongs there.

Rust: warm and earthy

The coziest of the three. Rust feels right next to warm wood, cream, linen and terracotta, and it glows in low autumn and winter light.

It's a lovely match for golden, red and tan coats too, so a little shed fur blends right in.

Navy: deep and classic

Navy goes with almost everything: white sofas, grey rugs, denim and brass. White and cream dogs look especially striking on it.

Here it's shown with its matching head pillow: cream with a rust velvet end, held in place by a band around the bed. (Why dogs love a pillow.)

Forest green: calm and natural

For homes full of plants, wooden floors and natural textures. Up close, the plush top has a soft, mossy shimmer that changes as the light moves across it.

It's the quietest of the three, and the one that disappears most easily into a room.

How to pick your colour

A few quick rules of thumb:

  • Match an accent you already have, like a cushion, a throw or a plant, rather than the walls.
  • Think about your dog's coat. Light dogs pop on navy and green, while golden and red coats look beautiful on rust.
  • Rust warms a room, navy grounds it and green calms it.
  • Still torn? Pick the one you'd be happy to look at every day. Your dog will spend half of it lying there.
