A spoiled dog and a stubborn idea
NOOKI began with a group of twenty-something designers, a few too many art degrees from overseas, and one thing in common: every one of us goes home to a dog (or three).
We went shopping for their beds, and everything felt… fine. Flat foam, loud prints, a vaguely “one-size-ish” attitude that never quite fit the pup snoring on our lap. So we did the only reasonable thing — we started designing our own, with our dogs as the (very demanding) quality inspectors.
Look closely — someone's hiding in there
Say NOOKI out loud and it sounds like a warm little corner. Look at it, and a face appears — those two round O’s aren't just letters:
- Zoom in — a wet little nose, sniffing out the warmth of the world.
- Step back — two big round eyes, watching over what matters.
- ☁️Add a cloud-soft head — and there's the face that greets you at the door.
Love shouldn't only be instinct
We've been through it all with our dogs — puppy chaos, thunderstorm cuddles, mystery allergies, and eventually grey muzzles and slower mornings. We've done the 2 a.m. worrying.
Somewhere in there we decided: loving a pet can be smart, too. Every NOOKI starts as a sketch and gets its first review from the toughest focus group on earth — our own dogs. (Brutally honest. They nap where they please.)

Dogs need joint support too
A dog sleeps twelve to fourteen hours a day. Where all that weight lands, night after night, turns out not to be a small thing.
Where the weight goes
On a thin foam pad, body weight collects on the same hips, elbows and shoulders hour after hour. The pad bottoms out — and from there, they are essentially lying on the floor.
How pocket springs answer
Individual springs respond one at a time instead of as a single slab, so hips sink where they need to and shoulders stay held up. Zero-pressure cloud foam softens the contact points on top.
Why seniors feel it most
Older dogs sleep longer and shift position less often, so pressure relief matters more, not less. Ours sit low and easy to step onto, too — getting in and out needs no run-up.
