Every NOOKI size is built around how a dog actually lies down — not just how much they weigh. Start with the weight, then adjust for how your dog sleeps. If you land between two sizes, size up: no dog has ever complained about too much bed.

Weigh your dog. Step on the scale holding them, then subtract your own weight. Use their current adult weight, not their puppy weight.
Watch how they sleep. Curled in a tight ball? The listed size is right. Sprawled out flat on their side? Go one size up.
Check the spot. Measure where the bed will live — beside the sofa, in a crate, under a desk — and compare it to the outer dimensions below.
A quick cross-check: measure your dog nose to tail while they are lying stretched out, then add 6–8 inches. The bed should be at least that long.
A curler like this one uses far less bed than their weight suggests — take the size listed. A dog that sleeps flat on its side needs the next size up.

The stair comes in a single size, so the question is not which size to buy — it is whether the stair suits your dog at all. It is built for dogs up to 33 lb (15 kg): small and medium breeds. The shallow 30° slope lets them walk up instead of jumping, which is what protects the knees and hips. My dog is between two sizes. Size up. The only real downside of a bigger bed is floor space — and most dogs spread out more once they realise they can.
I have a puppy. Buy for the adult size they are heading toward, not the size they are now. If you are not sure how big they will get, ask your vet for an estimate at their next visit.
It is going in a crate. Measure the inside floor of the crate and pick the size that fits within it — the mattress should lie flat, not curl up the sides.
Two dogs share a bed. Add their weights together and use that number, or go two sizes up from the larger dog. Sharing dogs sleep touching, but they still need room to turn.
